Chelsea Houska’s dad, Randy Houska, is back at it again! In an attempt to shut down the haters who believe that the Teen Mom 2 stars have got it made since appearing with their kids on TV, Papa Randilicious took to Twitter to let everyone know about the reality of being a teen parent.
“anyone watching the show can see that being a teen mom make life so much harder. Period. In no case did it make their life less complicated,” tweeted Randy on March 21.
Of course, Randy’s comment was met with tons of backlash. When a fan (or hater) made mention of Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer being a stay-at-home mom of three because of her MTV income, Randy jumped to the West Virginian mom’s defense, tweeting that she can stay home “by having a husband who has a great paying job. Duh.”
There’s long been the notion that the Teen Mom 2 stars are living the high life now as MTV pays the girls in exchange for taping their lives. Some commentators have gone so far as to say that the show’s message has changed, but Papa Randy says the show is a testament to the reality of being a teen mom.
“@bluebirdfly0 do real teen moms have bad/abusive relationships? Sick children? Worries about things beyond their control? All on the show,” he tweeted.
While the Twitter beef raged on (with appearances by Kailyn Lowry and hubby Javi Marroquin), Papa Randy made sure to defend the girls as best as he could, like any good daddy would.
