Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans filed six counts of domestic abuse charges against husband Courtland Rogers — including assault on an unborn child — back in January, but the 27-year-old roofer swears he didn't do it. And coming to his defense are his mom Holly and sister Carson, both of whom have been subpoenaed to court, according to Reality Tea.
Reality Tea spoke to a source close to the Rogers clan who claims that Jenelle's charges against Courtland are completely bogus.
"The charges are false and those that are close with the family feel that Jenelle will get in trouble in the end," the source dished.
The warrant for Courtland's arrest obtained by Splash News says that he's charged with "picking her [Jenelle] up, throwing her against the wall, bashing her head on the wall, punching her in the head, back, stomach, and legs." He was scheduled to appear in court on February 18, but skipped town and was eventually taken into police custody on March 5 in Pender County, N.C.
According to the source close to Courty and his fam, none of the above allegations are true. In fact, Carson was apparently present when Jenelle and Courtland's blowout altercation occurred back in November and plans to vouch for her brother in court.
"I spoke with Carson the night that the whole thing went down and she said that she saw the whole thing and Courtland did not touch Jenelle," the source told Reality Tea. "He was just trying to get the keys out of her hand."
In a surprising twist, Jenelle herself may be coming to her hubby's defense. In a recent Twitter post, she told fans that she never claimed Courtland punched her.
"When did those words EVER come out of my mouth?" she wrote to a fan. "I never gave ANY DETAILS TO ANYONE about what happened to me, so give up. It's my business. where does it say 'courtland punched me in my face'?"
