It's official, y'all! Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans's estranged husband, 27-year-old Courtland Rogers, is currently locked up at the Brunswick County Sheriff's office in North Carolina after he was served with arrest warrants in Pender County on March 5, 2013 — and Wetpaint Entertainment has his mug shot to prove it!
According to sheriff's office spokesperson Emily Flax, there are a total of six — count 'em, six! — charges facing the wayward roofer: four counts assault on a female and two counts battery of an unborn child. Jenelle Evans's lawyer Dustin Sullivan confirmed that Courtland's arrest is a result of the domestic abuse charges Jenelle filed against him on January 23, 2013.
Dustin also confirmed that each charge could land Courty up to 150 days in the slammer!
Jenelle, who miscarried at roughly 7-weeks, is currently shacked up in a rehab facility undergoing treatment for stress and emotional issues. After her dramatic split from Courtland, things only got worse. She fell back into the arms of ex-fiancé, Gary Head, who pleaded guilty to assaulting Jenelle just last year.
As for Courtland's well-being, it's not looking good. Hours before his arrest, Courtland was tweeting sweet nothings to Jenelle (despite the fact that she has no access to social media at the moment), as if things between the estranged couple were on the up-and-up. Unfortunately, the problems between Jenelle and Courtland are on a downward spiral, the likes of which we haven't seen since the Kieffer Delp era!
Keep checking back to Wetpaint Entertainment for all the developments on Courtland's arrest, and tell us below who you believe: Team Courtland or Team Jenelle?
