Did Catelynn Lowell Do the Right Thing By Choosing Adoption?
On next week's episode of Teen Mom, we'll get a closer look at Catelynn Lowell's emotional adoption support group session.
In the sneak peek clip, Catelynn reveals that she placed her daughter Carly up for adoption about two and a half years ago. She also tells the group that her mother did not support or agree with her decision to choose adoption.
Luckily, Catelynn has her grandmother Deb, who has been her rock throughout the past few years. Although Deb grew attached to little Carly almost immediately, she understands and supports Catelynn's decision.
Although she's content with her choice, Catelynn admits that talking about her daughter isn't easy. She tears up when she recalls the moment she said goodbye to Carly.
"I really felt like I was falling apart," she says.
But now, Catelynn is in a much better place, thanks to some new friendships with the women in her support group.
Adoption is a personal choice, and we admire Catelynn for doing what was right for her at the time, but would you have done the same thing in her shoes?
