Did Teen Mom’s Gary Shirley Get Arrested?

While Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood is currently serving a five-year sentence behind bars, her baby daddy, Gary Shirley, is caring for their daughter, Leah.

But Amber’s not the only one with a criminal record — Gary’s spent some time behind bars as well. On May 25, 2011, Gary was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being pulled over by a police officer who noticed the couple arguing in the car.

Gary’s license had been suspended the previous November, and he was later released from jail after posting a $3,000 bond.

But now this former jailbird’s focus is on his daughter, Leah, and supporting his baby mama, Amber. He even recently talked about potentially joining Al-Anon to better “understand” Amber’s actions and recovery process.
