Convincing a toddler to eat a big plate of leafy greens is never an easy feat, but Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham has it down to a science. In fact, 3-year-old Sophia has a major penchant for brussel sprouts!

So, how does Farrah get her little one to finish her veggies? By taking a little extra time to experiment in the kitchen.

"It’s a parent’s job to help them grow out of that close mindedness," the 21-year-old Iowa native tells SkinnyTwinkie.com. "Start with small steps by blending some veggies up in the blender and mixing them with a fruit dip and take their favorite berries and dip it in."

Another trick Farrah recommends is blending veggies into ground beef or turkey for more nutritious meatballs.

"I have hundreds of tricks for getting Sophia to widen her palette," the Teen Mom boasts. "After all, when I went to college, that’s what I had to practice myself, all the time, even when some things truly tasted unappealing."

You know what they say — you are what you eat! Will you try any of Farrah's kitchen tricks? Tell us below.
