Gary Shirley Clears Up Rumors: He's Single and His Mom Isn't Raising Leah

Teen Mom's Gary Shirley has had a lot to deal with in his short life. He fathered a daughter, got beat up by baby mama Amber Portwood, watched her spiral down into drug addiction, then said goodbye as she went to prison for five years.

And as with most of the other cast members of the Teen Mom franchise, Gary has to battle a lot of internet rumors. But luckily, this baby daddy's got a Twitter to clear things up!

First up, his relationship status. " I'm Single," he wrote. "A girl has to be very damn special after everything I've experienced for me to b w her."

At the very least, we hope Gary's next girlfriend doesn't hit him!

Gary's now a single father to precious little Leah and everything he does is fo rher. 

"I don't want someone in and out of a relationship ever again Leah doesn't need anymore confusion," he tweeted. 

And while Gary's mom helps him out, he insists that he's taking care of Leah on his own.

"Oh I do have a great mom. But she doesn't raise my kid," he said. "She has her own house, job, life. Her and her husband worked things out too. Btw."

Gary's become so responsible! What lady wouldn't want a great guy like him?
