How Is Baby Leah Doing Since Amber Portwood Went to Jail?

It's been about two weeks since troubled Teen Mom star Amber Portwood checked into the Rockville Correctional Facility in Indiana to begin her five-year jail sentence. Unfortunately, she hasn't been allowed to have any visitors because she's undergoing a series of mandatory "medical, psychological, mental, and emotional health" tests.

So how is baby Leah holding up without her mommy? On-again-off-again boyfriend Gary Shirley assures fans that his little girl is happy, healthy, and staying very active.

"My daughter was a sweet little girl today we went swimming. And she watched a Disney movie we had a good day," the proud dad tweeted on July 4.

And what made their Independence Day holiday even more exciting is that Leah got to speak to Amber on the phone!

"Leah talked to her mommy and Amber has gotten some letters from people so if ur 1 of those people she says thank you," Gary wrote.

Aww!

A few days prior, Gary took Leah on a "daddy daughter date" to Dave & Busters. If this picture is any indication, she and her best friend DiDi had a great time.
