Is Amber Portwood’s Face Pierced? (PHOTOS)

We’d like to think that Amber Portwood is keeping herself busy in jail prepping for her GED, but she could also be cleaning her shiny facial piercing.

In addition to a nose ring, Amber was sporting a dermal on last week’s episode of Teen Mom. The piercing is located beside her left eye. Dermals (or microdermal implants) can go anywhere on the surface of the skin and are anchored underneath the skin.

The majority of these piercings last less than a year, and since there was no sign of the dermal in Amber’s latest mugshot, taken on May 25, 2012 before her 5-year prison sentence, chances are it has already come out.
