Is It Socially Acceptable For Boys to Play With Dolls? Kailyn Weighs In!
Ready to break down some social norms? Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry is at it again, and this time she's taking on conventional gender roles in the good ol USofA! Kailyn is one smart cookie, and she always has a strong opinion — especially when it comes to her kid.
The latest? Isaac's new doll.
This adorable toddler loves himself some Toy Story, but sometimes Buzz and Woody are a total yawn fest. Which is where his cute doll comes in! Kailyn recently posted an Instagram photo of Isaac and his doll, and as you might expect Twitter exploded. Apparently, some of Kailyn's "fans" think that dolls are for girls only, and she's not having it.
"My son can't play with dolls because society says they're for girls?" Kailyn tweeted on October 31. "#gtfo He's 2."
Get it, Kailyn! We love that this gal is fighting against gender stereotypes and letting Isaac be himself — but do you agree with her decision? Sound off in the comments and tell us if you think dolls are appropriate for boys!
