Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans was arrested on April 23 for an array of charges including heroin possession, simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a controlled substance. The controlled substance in question was Percocet (oxycodone), a painkiller that is often abused by addicts.
Jenelle claims the heroin found in her car didn't belong to her, but the Percocet was definitely hers. The catch? She had a perscription!
"Hmmm maybe I had Percocet for my wisdom teeth surgery, duh," Jenelle tweeted on May 7. "They gave me my medicine before the surgery, the day of the arrest." Jenelle says the percocet prescription is currently in her lawyer's possession, which means she should be cleared of that particular charge.
"The copy of my prescription is already in my files at my lawyers," Jenelle explained.
However, it appears that Jenelle's percocet pills were the catalyst for the huge fight between her estranged husband, Courtland Rogers. "I count them and there are 12 left out of 30 and I flipped out on him [Courtland] and he threw them everywhere," Jenelle explained. "I have the prescription."
Looks like Jenelle is accusing Courty of stealing her drugs, y'all! Unfortunately, this wayward gent can't tell his side of the story because he's currently in jail on a $50,000 bond, but we expect he'll have plenty to say for himself once he shows up in court.
