Ladies, it's important to arm yourselves before going into battle. Yes, we're talking about a little thing called protection. But remember, condoms aren't always 100 percent effective (as many teen moms have learned the hard way), so it's good to have a backup plan.

Jenelle Evans from Teen Mom 2 suggests looking into different kinds of birth control until you find the one that works best with your body and lifestyle.

Initially, Jenelle used Implanon, a flexible, plastic rod that's placed under the skin of your upper arm for three years. It sounds a little weird, but our girl has nothing but positive things to say about her experience.

"It doesn't hurt and they numb your arm before putting it in," she explains on her Sulia page.

Unfortunately, Jenelle wasn't able to continue with the implant, and had to look for a different contraceptive.

"Recently I seen my psychiatrist for my bi-polar disorder and he said that my birth control would effect my medication so I had to get my birth control out and get something else," she reveals. "Now I'm on the pill. I'm not really happy with this decision and about the change to something else because I don't want to forget to take it one day! :)"

We recommend making it a part of your morning routine, Jenelle. You and Courtland make a cute couple, but it's way too soon to bring Jace a baby brother or sister.

What do you guys think about Jenelle's new birth control? What do you take? Tell us below.
