Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans recently left rehab in North Carolina after a short stay (following an even shorter rehab stint in Florida!), and girlfriend is finally coming clean about her reasons for seeking treatment. Long story short, she wasn't in rehab for drugs!
Jenelle's friends initially told fans that she was treating stress related to her recent split from husband Courtland Rogers, but her attorney, Dustin Sullivan, told E! News that she was getting help for "addiction issues for drug use."
So far, Jenelle has stayed hush-hush about rehab — until now! This feisty gal is finally coming clean, and let's just say the truth is a complete surprise.
"Didn't complete 30 days of rehab because for one I didn't go to there detoxing off of ANYTHING and went there SOBER," Jenelle posted to Sulia on March 15. "Second I went to a Florida rehab but transferred because it was a NIGHTMARE, lol long story. Once transferring the new facility was very nice and nothing wrong with the staff or patients there. I simply feel as if I didn't need to go to treatment if my problem isn't drugs anymore, and never will be again."
So, why was Jenelley in rehab if she doesn't have a drug problem? "I need individual counseling and therapy if anything for being addicted to relationships," she explained. "I can honestly admit this about myself and can't seem to help it unless I continue to get the help I need through therapy."
Talk about a shocker! It's no secret that Jenelle jumps from relationship to relationship (and often ends up with men who treat her poorly), so we're glad girlfriend is getting the help she needs. Are you surprised by Jenelle's revelation? Hit the comments!
