Kailyn Lowry Defends Her Ambition: "I Want to Work"

It's no secret that the stars of MTV's Teen Mom franchise make a pretty penny to have their lives exposed on national television — but some ladies, like soon-to-be married Kailyn Lowry, don't rely on their reality TV fame to make their mark on the world.  

One of the most ambitious television starlets out there, Kailyn loves working her tush off to provide for her son, Isaac, and contribute to her growing family's nest egg. The Teen Mom 2 gal recently started a new job at PetSmart's grooming salon, a gig we think is perfect for her.

But some fans aren't so sure. When one of Kailyn's Twitter followers asked her why she goes to work when she already gets a salary from MTV, she replied simply, "I want to work."

Let's not forget that Kailyn also works for Scentsy and babysits, in addition to her new gig.

In a word: admirable.
