Kailyn Lowry might be the most outspoken of all the Teen Moms, and she isn't afraid to tell it like it is.
To naysayers who accuse the show of "glamorizing" teen pregnancy, Kailyn has this response: "I guess not having relationships with either of my parents, being on my own since I was 17 & a single mother is glamorous."
And she doesn't stop there. Kailyn notes that she "took an opportunity that was presented to me" to be on Teen Mom.
"Luck, or whatever the reason, allowed me to be a voice of teen pregnancy," she writes.
Sure, the cast members have become famous and land on the covers of gossip mags. But Kailyn insists she is no celebrity.
"I don't have relationships w/either of my parents & I struggle dealing with teenage emotions & adult responsibility. That's glamorous?" she asks.
Additionally, teen pregnancy rates have dropped in recent years, which Teen Mom may have played a part in.
"Tell me why, since the first season of 16 & Pregnant, teen pregnancy has dropped 9%," Kailyn says to one critic on Twitter.
As usual, someone brought up the fact that the girls on Teen Mom get paid.
"So getting paid means I don't struggle with being a teen parent? What about the emotion side of it?" Kailyn replies.
Good to see Kailyn isn't afraid of fighting back!
