Kailyn Lowry Speaks Out in Support of Gay Marriage, Twitter Explodes
We didn't think it was possible to love Kailyn Lowry more than we already do, but now that she's become such an outspoken supporter of gay marriage, our collective girl crush on her has tripled!
Kailyn recently voiced her disappointment with North Carolina's much-buzzed about decision to ban gay marriage. "It's 2012 & we're really banning same-sex marriages?" Kailyn tweeted on May 9. "#acceptdiversityalready."
Unfortunately, not all of Kailyn's fans are as open-minded as she is, and her Twitter feed exploded with angry ladies and gents accusing her of "putting down" North Carolinans.
"I'm atheist, I believe in gay rights & I KNOW I'm a good mom," Kailyn wrote in her defense. "#judgeme This is 2012, #acceptdiversityalready!"
We have to hand it to Kailyn — she isn't afraid to speak her mind!
