Recap of Teen Mom 2 Season 4, Episode 11 (April 22, 2013)
Leah Messer has 99 problems and her lack of husbands ain't one. But just because this gal is swimming in a pool of chintees and choker necklaces (never change, Jeremy), doesn't mean her life is perfect. Far from it!
Despite the fact that Leah's twins, Ali and Aleeah, are healthy and happy, Ali has a few developmental disabilities that are still somewhat of a mystery. However, this gal has great medical treatment and two doting parents who are willing to do whatever it takes to get her diagnosed — but real talk? Ali's doctor appointments are hardly stress free. Especially for us (so many tears).
Luckily, it looks like it's only a matter of time before Leah and Corey get some answers. This dynamic duo take Ali to a neuromuscular specialist for a checkup, which is all kinds of nerve-wracking for Leah and her folksy Southern accent. The good news? Ali is finally learning how to walk (squeeeee!). The bad news? She lacks muscle tone in her legs, and the specialist recommends a muscle biopsy — which means Ali will have to go under general anesthesia!
As you might expect, Leah's relieved that Ali is close to getting a diagnosis, but she's also worried about learning bad news...
Sigh, thank goodness this Southern belle has such a fabulous support system. Even Corey is there for her when she needs him the most!"
