Leah Messer and Corey Simms’ divorce on Teen Mom 2 happened so quickly!
One day they were happily married, the next Leah was packing up her bags and moving.
Did Leah ever think of slowing things down?
“The day before the divorce was final, I was like, ‘You don’t wanna do this. We’re gonna look back and be like, why did we do this?’” Leah explains on the Teen Mom 2 After Show.
“And he didn’t say anything. Nothing. So we couldn’t swallow our pride.”
Corey's lack of communication didn't help, she says.
"I just felt like it was too late. Everything had just gotten way out of hand. Moved way too fast. It was like we had no control of it.”
As heartbreaking as their divorce was, Leah says it was for the best, for everybody.
“I just feel like maybe we weren’t meant to be,” Leah continues.
“Maybe there’s someone who can handle Corey’s emotions and the way he deals with things differently than I could. I don’t see how any girl could not want some kind of attention from her husband or boyfriend...”
