MTV: Teen Mom 1's Season 4 Will Be Our Last Season

We've been with them through incredible highs and devastating lows, and now, the original cast of Teen Mom — that's moms Maci, Catelynn, Amber, and Farrah — have announced that they will be signing off after Season 4.

MTV confirmed to Us Weekly that Season 4 will be the last year of televised drama for the four girls and their children, saying, "Season 4 will be the final season of Teen Mom with Maci, Catelynn, Amber and Farrah. They will continue to be a part of our MTV family, and we're thankful to these brave young women for sharing their stories and helping to make a positive impact on teen pregnancy prevention."

Despite the conclusion of the original series of the show, we're guessing that we'll continue to see a lot of them, as all four girls have become visible figures who speak about the issue of teen pregnancy. "From appearing in a series of teen pregnancy prevention PSAs to speaking at high schools around the country," MTV said, "these young women have become advocates for this issue."

And with Season 4 of 16 and Pregnant set to premiere on Mar. 27, with Season 4 of Teen Mom to follow at an as-yet-unannounced date in summer 2012, there will be plenty of Teen Mom action before the girls officially say goodbye!
