Sarah Palin Disses MTV's Teen Mom, Defends Bristol After F-Bomb Controversy

Former vice presidential candidate-turned-reality TV star Sarah Palin is coming to her daughter's defense after Lifetime released a clip of Bristol's 3-year-old son Tripp shouting what sounds like an anti-gay slur on her show Life's a Tripp. (Watch the clip here!)

"I know that no matter what, Bristol or Willow or Track or Piper and someday Trig, no matter what they do they’re going to be criticized,” Sarah said at a recent NBC cocktail party.

“But it’s like Bristol said all along: ‘The critics are going to criticize, the haters are going to hate, so you might as well dance.’ That’s why she did Dancing With the Stars and that’s why she’s doing what she’s doing today."

Turns out, Sarah is a bit of a hater herself when it comes reality series her daughter isn't on — like Teen Mom. The outspoken hockey mom had some choice words for MTV's young stars.

“[Bristol's] show today I think is very positive, it’s very realistic in terms of showing what single motherhood really is,” she stated. “It’s not like the Teen Mom  — partyin’, woo-hoo! — fun, glamorizing single motherhood."

Sorry, Sarah, but we're going to have to disagree with you there. Bristol and Willow's recent giggle fit seems like a way better time than Maci arguing with Ryan about sending Bentley to preschool. Just saying.
