Should Catelynn Lowell's Mom April Forgive Butch For His Abusive Behavior?

Catelynn Lowell's mom, April, and Tyler Baltierra's dad, Butch, are star-crossed hillbilly lovers, but their relationship is nothing but drama! April and Butch are both addicts, and their substance abuse issues have lead to violent fights and a no-contact order.

Unfortunately, these two just can't stay away from each other, and during this week's episode of Teen Mom, Butch sneaked into April's love nest and allegedly hit her. Poor April suffered bruises to her face and arms, but despite the fact that Butch is clearly a terrible person, she can't help her feelings. April loves her hubby with all her heart, and it looks like she might take him back!

Sadly, this pattern is common in abusive relationships, and it wouldn't be shocking if April and Butch got back together despite his violent outburst. As of January 2012, April had dropped the domestic abuse charges against Butch, so we assume they've worked out their issues to some extent.

Does Butch deserve a second chance at love, or would April be making a huge mistake if she let him back in her life?
