The day we’ve been dreading is finally upon us. Yep, it’s the Teen Mom 2 season finale (and it’s Valentine’s Day, but that’s a whole different drama).
Supplies you will need before we get going: Kleenex, a picture of Kieffer’s hoodie, at least two pairs of Uggs, cheese puffs and a shoulder to ugly-cry on.
Get ready, get set, get recapped!
JENELLE
California here we come! Our girl Jenelle is officially locked up in rehab, which means she’s soaking up sun, cigarettes and plenty of self-healing.
First on the to-do list? A routine bag search (Blunt wrappers? Check!), a urine test, and tons of therapy.
Thank goodness Jenelle is finally getting the help she needs, because it turns out she could be bipolar, which ... explains so much.
In case you snoozed your way through psychology class, bipolar disorder is a common but serious condition that causes extreme mood swings. It can make people do unpredictable and cray-cray things (cough, Kieffer Delp, cough), so it’s great that Jenelley’s getting the help she needs.
Sure, it’s hard for girlfriend not to smoke weed, but at least she has anti-anxiety pills now! And if all else fails, she can always get high off that psychedelic hoodie.
After weeks of rehab, Jenelle finally gets to work through some issues with her mom, and she reconnects with Kieffer. But does she Delpify herself? Hells no, she flat-out rejects him and beats her pot addiction to boot!
Way to end the season on a high note, girl! Tear.
KAILYN
Last time we checked on Kailyn, she was getting frisky with her baby daddy, Jo (aka the rapper N.I.C.K b).
The problem? Kailyn already has a boyfriend, the ever-faithful Jordan, who has stood by her through thick and thin!
This week, Kailyn gets some advice from her besties, and then sits Jordan down to tell him about her and Jo’s Humpty Dumpty.
Not-so-shockingly he breaks up with her on the spot, packs up his plastic box full of board shorts and hoodies, and books it outta her apartment in a huff.
Meanwhile, Jo tells his brother all about having crazy shower sex with Kail (talk about getting wet n’ wild), but sadly he doesn’t want to date her.
We hate that Kailyn ends the season on a low note, but hopefully she’ll take some time off men until she finds the perfect guy for her and Isaac!
CHELSEA
Chelsea spent most of this season crying into her leopard print throw pillows, but recently she’s had a complete turnaround.
Nowadays, this gal is all about being a strong, independent woman — and first on the list is acing her GED (well, that and buying every available sweatshirt from Victoria’s Secret Pink).
Sadly, Chelsea can’t get Adam out of her mind completely, and she has a lovelorn relapse when she sets eyes on him at a local car show (what, you don’t have those in your town?).
Poor Chelsea is reduced to tears at the mere sight of Adam’s chintee, and to make matters worse he drops by to pick up Aubree and sweeps Chel-Chel off her feet.
Sigh, are these two going to get back together again?
Uhm, yes. Chelsea heads over to Adam’s house and they decide to “be friends,” which apparently is code for “go on a romantic dirt-bike ride.”
Why do we get the feeling that they’re two seconds away from a makeout sesh?
LEAH
Prepare to sob. After last week’s shocking end to Leah and Corey’s marriage, they’re still going through with divorce proceedings and it’s heartbreaking.
Poor Leah is beside herself with grief, and despite therapeutic mani-pedis, she’s devastated that her relationship is dunzo.
Meanwhile, Corey’s concerned about seeing his daughters, so he secures himself visitation rights with Ali and Aleeah. Leah’s emotions come to a head when she drops the twins off at her lawyer’s office and sees Corey for the first time in weeks, and she can barely contain her tears!
On top of everything else, Leah has to move her belongings out of Corey’s house, which is a painful reminder of the good ol’ days. Sadly she ends up sobbing in an empty corner while Corey sheds a few studly tears under his hat.
Sigh, at least Leah’s bestie is moving into a new trailer with her!
What did you think of the Teen Mom 2 finale, y'all? Was it the perfect resolution to a season full of dramz, or did it leave you wanting more?!
