Teen Mom Arrested For Poisoning Another Girl’s Baby — Should She Go to Jail?

Sad news recently broke in the Teen Mom land. A young mother in Newburyport, Mass. allegedly poisoned another girl’s infant son at their shared home, according to local area police.

Both teen moms were living at Dare Family Services home, a residential program for pregnant and parenting teens, and the alleged criminal reportedly slipped a poisonous substance into the baby’s formula earlier this week, according to City Marshal Thomas Howard via the Newburyport Daily News.

The police are still looking into “possible motives involved in the situation,” but the anonymous girl is expected to be arraigned in her local court sometime next week. Luckily, the infant boy who was poisoned was brought to a hospital today, where he was “tested and then treated and released.” Although we hope this was a misunderstanding, it sounds like this girl is in for some jail time.

Although Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood didn’t commit a heinous crime like this, she is currently separated from her daughter, Leah, while she serves time in jail. We can’t even imagine what will happen to the alleged criminal’s child if she actually committed the crime, but we hope she has someone as loving as Gary Shirley to take care of her own little girl!
