For one thing, they all have completely insane multi-colored hair, and for another they're full-blown celebrities!
"To me a celebrity is someone that people want to be like, they want to be that person, they want to live that person's life," Maci Bookout tells The Stir.
"I've honestly never had a fan tell me that they want to be me or they want to live my life or they want to go through what I've gone through."
Maci's been accused of glamorizing pregnancy thanks to Teen Mom, but she says there's nothing dazzling about her life.
"I have a normal life, and as far as the tabloids are concerned, we never asked to be on the cover of magazines," Maci explains.
"And 99 percent of the time they're never saying anything true and they're never saying anything nice. And that's not really glamorous either."
Maci definitely gets her fair share of criticism, but how can anyone argue that Teen Mom glamorizes pregnancy in the wake of Amber Portwood's recent jail sentence?
"With Amber, I just hope nothing but the best for her," Maci says, "and I just want her happy."
Now that Teen Mom is almost behind her, Maci's concentrating on her post-fame future. "I still definitely want to do something in journalism or hosting or something like that just because that's where my passion is," she says.
"I really enjoy it. I've always kept the fame separate from my real life. It's not necessarily that I don't take it seriously but it's not something that... I don't do this for the fame, and I would never choose my career to be famous."
Awww, this girl is so down-to-earth. Here's to hoping she'll get her own spin-off show on MTV! We're thinking, "Maci Bookout: Adventures In Colorful Hair Care."
