You’re not an official Teen Mom until you get a killer back tattoo! Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans have some impressive ink, but nothing compares to the epic nature of OG Teen Mom Maci Bookout’s permanent back art.

This little lady got her back tatted up last March, and she hasn’t looked back since (pun intended). The most noticeable part of her back mural is the giant piece of notebook paper.

We like to think it’s an homage to her time on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, which launched her career and helped shape Bentley’s childhood. MTV often uses notebook paper to sketch out the names of the main ladies and their little ones.

Maci gave a different definition back when she got the ink.

“Ink on paper fades but on flesh it stays #bulletproof #bentleycadence #learntofeel#heart #paper #cupcakes,” she tweeted.

And if that hashtag-happy post isn’t enough, Mac offered further explanation on her Facebook page.

"Bulletproof is because I can withstand anything thrown at me. Bentley Cadence is for Bentley and the page on my back has Bookout on it. The page stands for me loving to write. The three o’s are cupcakes and it’s one for my mom, dad, and brother. The u is my zodiac sign and the t is a lightning bolt which is my symbol for my group. ‘Learn to feel’ starts on my upper rib and then continues onto my back."

And though Maci never claimed that her “teenage dream ended” when she had Bentley, the tattoo does have a several flashes back to childhood from the paper to the cupcakes.

The scripted writing across the notebook paper looks more like the notes of a teenage girl than a grown woman. And though Maci’s maturity has infinitely improved over the course of the shows, she’s still a kid at heart.
