Which Teen Moms Tweeted Their Support For National Coming Out Day?
October 11 is National Coming Out Day, and some of MTV's Teen Mom stars are coming out with their support for the occasion on Twitter. Two of the show's most outspoken gay rights advocates, Maci Bookout and Kailyn Lowry, hopped on the social networking site this morning to share their thoughts.
"Be you & be proud! Happy National Coming Out Day! #NOH8," Kailyn wrote, which was quickly retweeted by Maci.
These gals have long supported gay rights, having posed for the NOH8 campaign earlier this year, protesting the 2008 ban on same-sex marriage in California. Check out their photo shoot, featuring fellowTeen Mom co-star Catelynn Lowell.
Maci and Kailyn have been tweeting about gay rights for quite some time now. Back in May, Kailyn wrote, "It's 2012 & we're really banning same-sex marriages? #acceptdiversityalready."
"#NOH8," Maci chimed in this past Sept."You don't have to agree with me. Thats suppose to be the beauty of this country right?"
Right! Feel free to voice your thoughts about National Coming Out Day loud and proud in the comments below.
