Who Is Javi Marroquin?

On last week's Season 3 premiere of Teen Mom 2, we got a sneak peek at Kailyn Lowry's fiance, Javi Marroquin. But since we'll be seeing a lot more of him as the season progresses, we thought we'd give you the 411 on Kail's hubby-to-be.

Javi and Kailyn met over a year ago when she was working at a Buckle store in the mall.

“So I’m working at the mall, the store Buckle, and Javi and his brother come in. I assume his older brother is his dad and that gets us laughing," Kailyn wrote on her website. "Javi lies to me about what he was shopping for… So I eventually learn that he hates graphic tees.”

It's an adorable story, but it wasn't love at first sight for this star-crossed couple. Javi did a little wooing — scratch that, a lot of wooing — until Kailyn finally agreed to give him her digits.

“At check out he asks to take me for ice cream and I tell him no, lol,” she wrote. “Hard to see that looking back I turned him down! Anyway, from there he came into Buckle again and we started forming a friendship via Twitter and Buckle visits. :o) Eventually, I gave him my number. ;)”

We don't know much about Javi — just like Kailyn, he's keeps his private life private — but we do know he's an avid soccer player, he's super tight with his family, and he's a practicing Catholic. He speaks Spanish fluently, which has had a positive impact on Kailyn's son Isaac, who is quickly become bilingual!

All in all, we think Javi's quite the catch — and a huge step up from Isaac's baby daddy, Jo! Do you think Javi and Kailyn will last forever? Tell us below!
