Television Star Gary Collins Dies at 74

E! Online reports that on Saturday morning, 74-year-old Gary Collins died from natural causes in Biloxi, Miss.

According to IMDB (via E! Online), the television star started out as a radio and television host for the Armed Forces Network, where he discovered his passion. Gary would later come to be known for his roles on The Sixth Sense (the television series) and The Wackiest Ship in the Army.

Gary also hosted the Miss America pageant in the 1980s.

We hate it when a member of our television family leaves us, but we’ll always remember and admire Gary’s work!
