Teresa Giudice Talks Fraud Case: “I’m Not in Denial, I Know It’s Serious and Terrible”

It’s been a tough few months for Teresa Giudice and her family as she and hubby Joe Giudice are facing 39 counts of federal fraud and up to 50 years in prison.

Tre and Juicy Joe sat down with Andy Cohen for an in-depth interview on Sunday about the case, but she also took to her BravoTV blog to offer some insight into her current state.

“I'm not in denial about it, I know it's serious and terrible, and I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone,” she wrote. “But I choose to stay positive. It would be easy to stay in bed and cry all day. It's hard to keep moving forward, keep working, and keep your head up, but that's what strong women do.”

Teresa explained that her strength wasn’t just to help herself get through this tough time. She has a family to think about.

“Especially being a mom, I can't fall apart,” she continued. “I have four little girls looking at me to see how to handle bad times. I want to set a good example for them because life involves bad times. You have to know how to cope and not to crumble. And I trust in God. I trust that no matter what, we'll be OK. Worrying isn't going to do one thing to help us.”

Though Teresa’s definitely flawed (aren’t we all), it’s nice to see her being so open with this situation and working hard to stay strong for her daughters.

Do you think Teresa’s doing a good job handling her charges or is she living in denial? Weigh in below!
