Teresa Giudice Fraud Case: Jacqueline Laurita Tells Kim G. Not to Gloat
Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice have had a rocky friendship to say to least, but now Jac is coming to the defense of her former friend in the wake of her impending fraud trial. On July 31, Jac made it clear on Twitter that she will not weigh in on the Giudice’s misfortune, but that doesn’t mean she won’t put others in their place for being disrespectful to the couple.
Kim Granatell — who has appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey briefly over the years— has been shockingly joyful about Tre’s federal fraud charges, noting that she’s “been waiting for this for a long time,” and even saying that she hopes the mom of four “rots in prison.”
Jacqueline clearly took issue with Kim’s comments, and she let her know how she felt via Twitter. “Hey @Kimgranatell ! I haven't seen you in 2 years, U have been MIA, until now. U r very vocal. I know you never cared for T & J but...”
A passage from Proverbs 24:17 accompanied the tweet, and we give Jacqueline a lot of credit for politely telling Kim G. to keep quiet. The biblical bit reads, “Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice.”
We’re going to agree with Jacqueline (and the Bible) and say that this is no time to gloat and be pleased about Teresa’s current circumstances. If nothing else, remember that there are four young children involved in this as well, and they have done nothing wrong.
