Teresa Giudice’s Guilty Plea: Jacqueline Laurita Is “Praying for a Dear” Friend

On March 4, almost a year since Teresa and Joe Giudice were first charged with 39 (now 41) counts of federal fraud, the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple has officially pled guilty to multiple charges. So far, Teresa has kept silent on Twitter about the update, but one of her former RHoNJ co-stars is taking to social media to publically share her support.

Not even an hour after reports of Teresa’s guilty plea first surfaced, Jacqueline Laurita tweeted, “Praying for a dear old friend and her family today.

Included with her tweet was a photo of a quote by young songstress Demi Lovato: “No matter what you’re going through, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and it may seem hard to get to it but you can do it and just keep working towards it and you’ll find the positive side of things.”

Jacqueline did not clarify whether or not she was speaking about Teresa, but given the timing of her post, it seems pretty clear which “dear old friend” her quote is referring to.

Under Teresa’s plea agreement, she will likely face less than two years in prison. While that’s still two years away from her four daughters, it’s a significantly smaller number than the original 50 years she could have face. Teresa’s husband, Joe Giudice, will likely face between three and four years in prison.

Clearly, this is an extremely difficult time for the Giudice family. We’re glad that they have friends nearby to give them support.
