Did Teresa Giudice Lie About a VMA Invite?

There's drama surrounding the 2013 VMAs and we're not talking about Miley Cyrus or her tongue — we're talking Real Housewives of New Jersey drama, people (aka the best kind of drama). According to Hollywood Life, Teresa Giudice pretended to be invited to the festivities so that people wouldn't think that Melissa Gorga got an invite and she didn't.

Naturally, Melissa was beyond ecstatic to attend the MTV event and tweeted about all the fun she was having all evening. Meanwhile, Teresa took to Twitter to let everyone know that she turned down her invite in order to spend time with family.

But, one of her followers had some doubts about Teresa's story. When the "fan" accused her of lying, Teresa snapped back, “Bravo invited all of us thank you very much. Kisses.”

That would have put an end to it, except Jacqueline Laurita unknowingly (or maybe knowingly?) contradicted Tre.

Hollywood Life reports, "...Teresa and Melissa’s RHONJ co-star Jacqueline Laurita was asked the same question — if all the Housewives were invited to the VMAs — and she appeared to prove Teresa wrong."

When Jacqueline commented how lucky Melissa was to attend the awards, one follower wondered why she didn't go herself if Bravo had invited all the women. "No they didn’t," Jacqueline responded, adding, "Ashlee was invited though.”
