Teresa Giudice and husband Joe are mired in some serious legal drama; even more charges were added to the federal government’s fraud case against them, bringing the current total to 41. Because of the new charges, the couple is due back in court for their second arraignment tomorrow, Wednesday Nov. 20.
Despite Teresa's personal struggles, it looks like the show will go on. Wetpaint Entertainment can confirm that, post-arraignment, Teresa is gearing up to film Season 6 of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
“There’s no reason her legal problems should get in the way of her being able to film,” a source tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “And for now, it looks like they won’t.”
Adds the source: “She’s getting ready to start filming. Everything is moving ahead.”
As for her personal state of mind, the source explains Teresa’s trying to hold it all together. “She’s staying as calm as possible and is trying to keep her focus on family and work. She knows her kids need her and she knows she has to be able to film.”
One thing that’s sure to put her more at ease this season? The presence of her close friend and supporter, Dina Manzo.
“Teresa was sick of it being the whole cast against her,” the source adds. “She happy she’s finally going to have an ally at her side.”
