We can only imagine how tough it's been for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice to deal with a possible 50-year prison sentence for fraud charges. But she is somehow managing to stay upbeat despite the ordeal.
Teresa tells Star magazine that she and Joe are focused on moving forward and are hopeful that things will work out for their family.
"It is beyond frustrating, and yet I know one day the truth will come out," Teresa says. "But I am really touched by all the support I am getting."
It sounds like Joe might be more confident about things working out than Teresa herself is. "Joe is always an optimist, but he realizes this is a serious situation," she continues. "He looks forward to his day in court."
Teresa says that Joe really just wants the best for their for daughters. "He wants to move forward, and his only concern is for our family," Teresa says.
Meanwhile, Teresa had previously said that the legal issues had actually brought Joe and her closer together. "My marriage is actually stronger," Teresa says. "This has made us really focus and be grateful for what we have."
It's good to hear that Teresa and Joe — who will appear in court in February 2014 to face federal fraud charges — are making the best of their situation.
