The couple, who both plead to fraud charges in a New Jersey court on Tuesday, won’t be sparing fans the juicy details of their legal battle when the new season of RHONJ hits the air.
Reps for Bravo confirmed to People that Teresa and Joe’s case wasn’t off-limits for the reality show, and that cameras have been rolling during the Jersey couple’s war against prison time.
While it still remains to be seen what punishment a judge will dole out for Teresa and ol’ Juicy Joe’s crimes, it doesn’t look like the pair will be able to talk their way out of this one. When sentencing takes place on July 8, Teresa is facing between 21 and 27 months in federal prison, while Joe could serve nearly four years.
Although it’s undoubtedly a stressful situation for the two, it seems like Teresa’s keeping her rage-fueled table-flipping to a minimum these days, opting instead for a surprisingly dignified response to her situation.
“I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family. Especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world,” said Teresa. “I intend to address the court directly at sentencing. I will describe the choices I made, continue to take responsibility for my decision and express my remorse.”
