The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Joe Giudice is expected to serve at least some jail time after his and Teresa Giudice's sentencing on July 8. So this is basically their last month with their four daughters before things change irrevocably. Are Joe and Teresa growing closer in the weeks of turmoil or is Teresa frustrated with Juicy Joe for spending time away from the family? Depends on who you ask.
Teresa has been posting photos with the loves of her life, including Joe with the girls in a new family photo and Joe at Audriana's dance recital. T also showed pics of herself helping out at the girls's school fair and on her own with the kids.
According to RadarOnline's source, "Teresa feels like Joe should be spending every minute that he can with her and their four girls, but he’s still doing his own thing, doing stuff with the guys and she’s getting really frustrated." Teresa apparently feels like "he's ignoring them."
It would be understandable if Teresa felt scared and maybe even a little needy, since she's poised to lose Joe, and potentially faces raising four girls on her own. (She could still get jail time herself, too; she's not off the hook.) The Season 6 promo even showed her telling Joe, "Me without you doesn’t work. This family cannot function without you." Radar's source added, “She knows that they just have DAYS left with Joe and the fact that he wants to spend time away from her and the girls is heartbreaking for Teresa.”
But hold on, because All Things Real Housewives talked to Teresa and Joe's crisis manager (yep, they have one) Wendy Feldman, who said the Radar report is not true. She also noted that Joe is working out and "looks better than ever," which isn't really tied to the Radar source’s complaints about time with family. On that subject, though, Wendy added, "The Giudices are currently in New York City and Joe will be with Teresa this Thursday at a Fabellini event, and at the kids year end soccer games on Saturday." She added, "As a couple going through a very tough time I am impressed as they really are closer than ever."
So Joe is spending some time with the family, but he may also be hanging out with his friends, enjoying a little bit of freedom. People handle stress and fear differently — maybe he wants to "live a little" and she wants to hunker down and hold everyone close. We'll probably see for ourselves when RHoNJ Season 6 starts, since the season will cover their legal woes and preparation for sentencing.
