Love is in the air, and not just on The Bachelorette! On June 26, the United States Supreme Court officially ruled Prop 8 unconstitutional, therefore returning the right for same-sex couples in California to get married.

GLAAD reported the news early Wednesday morning, adding that the Supreme Court has also ruled the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) unconstitutional. This means that nationwide, same-sex couples who are legally married will be entitled to the same federal protections — health insurance, Social Security, and retirement savings — as heterosexual couples.

A number of familiar faces from Bachelor Nation have already taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the news. Ali Fedotowsky, who lives in California, tweeted:

Fellow Cali resident, and 2013 Bachelor, Ben Flajnik, wrote:

Bachelor producer Elan Gale reacted to the news in a more humorous fashion.

Meanwhile, Bachelor executive Robert Mills, took a more straightforward stance.

Season 7 Bachelorette contestant Adam West put it this way.

That’s a lot of positive response from Bachelor Nation! What do you think of the Supreme Court’s two latest rulings?
