Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock wants a man in touch with his sensitive side, but even she appears unprepared for the emotional range of her Season 9 beaux.

Maybe it was the jet lag, spicy tapas, or abundant sangria, but the boys seemed particularly worked up during last night’s episode in Spain. We almost expected someone (Drew) to whip out a spirit stick (not a euphemism) and start up some good old fashioned talk therapy.

And we weren’t the only ones who noticed the fiesta of feelings — Bachelor Sean Lowe wasn’t exactly amused by the emotional cartwheels Des’ men were turning across his TV last night.

“These guys do know they're guys right?” tweeted the man with the perfectly smooth chest watching The Bachelorette.

Sean’s fiancée Catherine Giudici also threw some shade the contestants’ way. “Like the girly men harping on drama are all that much more attractive at this point,” she wrote.

We see SeanCat’s point. Between the heavy concentrations of bro sighing and the tight-knit man huddles to discuss the Case of James, we were beginning to wonder if The Bachelor had started early.

Not that there’s anything wrong with a guy who says how he feels — poor Juan Pablo might have benefited from a little less hot aloofness — but even we have a touchy-feely limit, a limit that was hit the moment James tried to squeeze out a couple tears to fit in.
