Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici have been teasing us about their wedding date since the March 11 finale of The Bachelor Season 17. Pretty much the second we found out they were engaged, and had the chance to see the love they shared, we’ve been dying for an invitation to their nuptials — even if we only get to wear our best cocktail party dress to sit on our couch and watch.

But according to an E! Online source, we may be waiting a whole lot longer than we originally bargained for. Sean and Catherine have both expressed their desire to get married in the same place they fell in love — on television — but don’t expect that to happen any time soon, E! sources say.

“I would say it’s more likely to happen in 2014, not 2013,” they were told. WHAT?! But we have plans that day! Our dress will be out of style by then! We cannot possibly wait that long! But our most important expletive? OH NO! Does this delay spell trouble for SeanCat?

Probably not. Word is the delay is due to scheduling conflicts: They want to veg out now that DWTS is over and the sun is out, rather than spend their time planning a dream wedding.

In fact, this is the first time they’ve gotten to spend any real quality time together in public. "Straight after the Bachelor, Sean went into Dancing With The Stars and straight after that they both had a lot of work commitments. There was no time to make wedding plans. Now that they've both freed up a little, they just want to enjoy each other this summer. They've got a few mini-vacations in the works."

True that, as Wetpaint just got exclusive scoop on those vacations Sean and Catherine are taking this summer. So, does this change mean there’s a possibility that the wedding won’t make primetime? After all, the new season of The Bachelor will likely air in January, with a short couple months between its finale and the next Bachelorette. Could their wedding get lost in the shuffle of new faces?

Nah. Our only real concern is how two such attractive people can stand to be together, live together, and cuddle up as they do — and never round third base! If it were us, we’d be tying the knot, like, yesterday...
