Bachelor 2014 Juan Pablo Galavis is only weeks away from trading in his sweaty V-necks for a wardrobe full of well-cut suits and a bushel of roses. And while we still want him to have plenty of dates requiring him to run around and take off his shirt, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t dreaming of him looking so rich, so pretty in some snappy threads. And as it turns out, homeskills is reportedly plenty able to afford whatever fine wares he wants.

Juan Pablo had a pretty sweet career as a soccer player in Venezuela, and a little bit in the US, before retiring in 2009. In addition to his midlevel midfielding, he has also worked in the music industry somewhat, promoting bands and hooking ‘em up with record producers in Miami, among other confusingly worded projects.

So, what does this all mean? Well according to one site, Juan Pablo is worth over 1.2 million dollars. And thanks to his stint as the next Bachelor, he’ll be able to add a healthy chunk to that total. Whereas Sean Lowe made between 75,000-90,000 dollars for his Season 17 job, we’re thinking that Juan Pablo may be able to get a little more. The demand for him as Bachelor is unprecedented, with women likely rushing to their nearest community college to learn enough español to win his corazón.

With looks that can literally kill (our will to date anyone else), a darling four-year-old daughter, a great relationship with his ex, Carla, and a highly entertaining career trajectory, we would say that money ain’t no part of our love for Juan Pablo. Still, it’s nice to know he’s got a little cash tucked in his cleat for buenas noches.
