Reality Steve said he got an e-mail about Tuesday’s Dr. Phil episode. “Hopefully her mother put to rest some of the nonsense that was being spread around out there by people just trying to make a name for themselves,” Steve wrote. “The episode has already been shot and apparently Jake was a part of it as well.”
Gia’s mom, Donna Micheletti, issued an official statement a couple of days after her daughter’s death, to combat the speculation stories already making the rounds about why Gia committed suicide.
"The family and close friends of Gia Allemand have not spoken to the media to date, nor have they posted comments or insight on Twitter. There are numerous statements and theories in the media regarding Gia's death and her life that refer to sources close to Gia or friends of hers,” Donna said in her statement. "As her mother, I am well aware of Gia's close friends and her best friends, and I am personally going on record to refute all statements to the media out there thus far with the exception of official statements we have released through publicist Penelope Jean Hayes, and those jointly with [her boyfriend] Ryan Anderson's NBA team representation."
Jake and Gia were close friends after she placed third on his Bachelor season. They competed together on Bachelor Pad Season 2, and he was devastated by her death.
There’s no mention of this episode yet on the official Dr. Phil site, but the new season does start on September 10. Hopefully they will share some kind of hint as to what Gia’s mom and Jake will be sharing. Will you tune in?
