The Bachelor Season 18 won't premiere until January 6, but the magic is starting this week.

According to Reality Steve, Juan Pablo Galavis' 25 future girlfriends — including one potential fiancée — will start arriving in Los Angeles for filming this Saturday, September 14!

Filming usually starts a couple of days after that, but not all of the girls who fly out will make the final cut. Sadly, they'll have to stalk Juan Pablo without official ABC assistance, just following production around the world on their own dimes like the rest of us. Meanwhile, JPG has been hanging in LA for a little while now — posting pics of himself with athletes at Dodgers stadium, and the like. You know, as celebs do.

We won’t have to wait too long for an idea of what’s going down in the Juan Pabs love factory. Not only will RS be sharing his usual spoilers as he gets them (let’s pray they’re all accurate. We ugly cry like whoa when they aren’t.), the actual Powers That Be will be giving play-by-play updates in real time once filming starts. As ABC exec Robert “Millsy” Mills recently tweeted, “#Bachelornation alert @fleissmeister and I will be live tweeting the first night arrivals for #Bachelor! #GetchaPopcornReady #JuanPabloFever."

If everything happens as it normally does, that live out-of-the-limo tweeting should be happening next week. So, grab that popcorn and prepare to feel like you’re right there with JPG as he’s amused, bewildered, embarrassed, excited — and most likely shirtless at least once — on what we hope will be the most dramatic season premiere ever!
