Bachelor 2014 Juan Pablo Galavis is all about teaching people Spanish via social media. And why not? He’s got a way to mass-educate all the swoony loonies who are following his every word, quote, and karaoke sesh online. But while we’re not sure if contestant Val Eredia is one of us them, learning Español 140 characters at a time, she does have a love of learning languages.
The 26-year-old Sutter, California resident is amazing at American Sign Language, and we’re imagining a future tri-lingual child from Val Pablo, who will likely take over the world. But she’s not just good at languages, she’s also driven and smart. She attended Yuba City College, where she played volleyball, and then finished up at Sacramento State University with a degree in physical therapy.
We’re not exactly sure what she’s doing these days, but she worked previously as a bartender and seems to be in super good shape — possibly from whipping her PT clients into shape? Athlete Juan Pablo could certainly use a partner with sports medicine knowledge, since the former soccer player is super active and loves to keep his bum in tip top condition (thank you, BTW). Plus, if she’s looking for clients, he’s friends with a ton of pro athletes.
Not to finish things off on a downer note, but the thing that often sets girls apart on The Bachelor is a good sob story. Word is, her cousin was killed at a party in 2008, and her grandpa died two years later. If we’ve learned anything from the show, she will be given plenty of screen time to open up to Juan Pablo about what these losses mean to her, and how they’ve left her open to love.
Do you think that Val is the right girl for Juan Pablo Galavis? Weigh in below.
