After one round of eliminations on The Bachelor, Juan Pablo Galavis is swearing the producers had nothing to do with who got the ax — despite cries from last week’s castoffs to the contrary.

Since the episode aired, ex-contestants Kylie Lewis and Lauren Higginson have both alleged that the show’s producers manipulated their time onscreen, making them appear less than their best selves. In a recent E! News interview with Catt Sadler and Ali Fedotowsky, however, Juan Pablo says he saw all he needed to see from the ladies.

"It's been one episode, so I saw the same that you see — the special, the casting part, whenever they get out of the limo," he said. "So if they didn't portray themselves as they have to portray themselves, that's not our problem. It's [the girls'] problem, you know. I was myself."

Well, you can’t say the guy doesn’t have confidence.

"I was myself," Juan Pablo said. "I did whatever I wanted to do when I was on the other show [Desiree Hartsock’s season of The Bachelorette]. I didn't do whatever I didn't want to do on the other show, and that was it. So I wouldn't complain at all."

Is Juan Pablo right? Or do you think the girls were portrayed unfairly? Let us know in the comments below!
