The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis has done his best to explain what he meant when he said that ABC shouldn't choose a gay or bisexual Bachelor. Now, as you might have guessed, a lot of members of Bachelor Nation are sharing their own thoughts on the controversy.

Juan Pablo was at an event on January 17 when he said that a gay Bachelor would not be a "good example for kids to watch" and that gay people are "more pervert." ABC condemned the remarks as "thoughtless," and Juan Pablo released a statement explaining that his views were not properly expressed.

But what do other celebs and Bachelor personalities have to say about the situation? We've collected tweets from a slew of people, including current Bachelor contestant Kelly Travis, who has a gay parent. Other people who are weighing in include Vampire Diaries creator Kevin Williamson and Orange Is the New Black star Jason Biggs.

Meanwhile, two contestants from Juan Pablo's Bachelorette season are defending him, according to E! News. "He's an extremely accepting person that loves everyone," Mikey Tenerelli says. And James Case says, "I haven't had a chance to speak with Juan Pablo yet, but I know my friend." James adds, "He's a beautiful person and has a good heart."
