Nobody’s perfect, as The Bachelor Season 18 has proven. And we’re not even talking about the many, many questionable decisions Juan Pablo Galavis made during the course of the show. We’re actually talking about the show’s producers, who acknowledge that this season didn’t quite go the way they had hoped.

During this week’s finale, America collectively scratched its head as Juan Pablo refused to say anything at all about his relationship with Nikki Ferrell. The following morning, Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss took to Twitter to thank the show’s fans enduring a long season of “it’s okays” and ever-changing rules about besitos.

“Thank you #BachelorNation for hanging in there this season,” Mike tweeted on March 11. “We love you!!!” Meanwhile, for his part, ABC exec Robert Mills seemed to be speaking for viewers as he reacted to the shocking finale on Twitter. “Oh, boy,” Robert tweeted during the finale. “Is everyone alright?”

Indeed, “oh, boy” seems to perfectly sum up how the Bachelor honchos should be feeling about Juan Pablo’s rocky run as the Bachelor. Although the network can’t be disappointed with the finale and ATFR’s ratings apparently, we all want to watch the grilling of a guy we love to hate it’s been no secret that the producers have had buyer’s remorse about choosing Juan Pablo. And Mike’s tweet sounds like his way of apologizing.

So, we accept the apology on behalf of Bachelor Nation. But let’s just say that if there’s a JPG 2.0 in the future, things will not be “OK.”

Are you surprised that Bachelor producers are admitting this season wasn’t great?
