For a guy who claims to just want to live a private life, Juan Pablo Galavis is about to be spending quite a bit of time in the limelight. However, if you’ve always wanted to pay a lot of money to be packed into a loud, sweaty nightclub with an outside chance of catching a glimpse of El Bachelor himself, you’re in luck. (And if you have always wanted to do that, it might be time to take a long, hard look in the mirror.)

TMZ reports that Juan Pabs who made a big stink on his ATFR to Chris Harrison about how he wants to be left alone is getting paid a hefty sum to appear at The Pool After Dark nightclub in Atlantic City on March 29. And yes, Nikki Ferrell is set to attend as well, though she’s not listed on the event poster. As you may know, paid club appearances are the lifeblood of the almost-famous, as many a Real Housewife and a Lohan can attest.

However, what’s making Juan Pablo’s upcoming appearance particularly eyebrow-raising (no, we didn’t say “eyebrow-touching,” Juan Pablo) is that the word “Bachelor” does not appear anywhere in the marketing for the event. But that’s not an accident, as Juan Pablo was apparently adamant that there be no mention of the dating show on any press releases or fliers for his appearance.

And that’s not all. Juan Pablo has agreed to meet with 15 fans but only under the strict condition that no one ask him anything about his time on The Reality Show That Shall Not Be Named. The same stipulation is being enforced for any reporters who interview him there. So, uh, what does that leave for people to ask him about?

Now, it’s time for the moment of truth: Exactly how much is he pocketing for this appearance? Reportedly, he’s collecting a not-insignificant $20,000 for the evening. Or, to put it another way: Ay yi yi. And if what we’ve heard about his financial situation is to believed, that paycheck can’t come soon enough.

So we can’t say we can blame him for accepting a five-figure sum for a night spent shaking a few hands and perhaps shaking his moneymaker on the dance floor. But we also hope we don’t have to hear him use the word “private” anymore either since getting paid for club appearances is not what a private person does. Hey, we’re just being “honest.”

Are you surprised by what Juan Pablo is making for the appearance? And do you think a lot of people will pay to see him?
