Bouncing back after a breakup can be tough, but Bachelor Season 16 winner Courtney Robertson found that writing was the best way to heal her heart. Wetpaint Entertainment recently caught up with Courtney at the launch of her new memoir, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain, at NYC hotspot Sons of Essex, sponsored by Thirsty NYC. While there, the sizzling brunette spoke exclusively about all things guys and dating.

Courtney began the process of penning her book a year ago, during which she decided to let it all out and be as candid as possible with her fans. She explained that the book includes her “whole life story — from every relationship, leading to the breakup.” She also describes her novel as “pretty dicey.”

And since we know that she’s been through the wringer when it comes to relationships, we wanted to get the low-down on her dating advice for others.

“I’ve been really doing a lot of work on myself,” she explained. “I had a really bad first date. Ugh, I don’t want to see him again. But I went on a second date and it was amazing. We actually ended up dating for a while. I’m so glad I did it. I’m just like everyone else; I’m just trying to figure it out.”

And girlfriend has had her fair share of dating antics. Courtney dished to us about her not-so-great experience with popular dating app Tinder, saying, “I did Tinder for about two dates — and it will be two dates I’ll never get back in my life. I deleted the app. Everybody is doing it and it’s addicting! I was swiping all over the place and getting matched to people I didn’t want! You swipe the wrong way and you’re like, ‘No, I take it back!’”

We totally understand her pain! But it looks like the reality star’s definitely got her groove back.

“I’m dating somebody actually,” Courtney shared. “We’ve been going out for a while … He’s really supportive of me and we were friends before.”

Looks like Courtney is definitely back on the road to finding love again. We’re rooting for you, girl!

You can grab a copy of Courtney’s book, I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain, when it comes out June 24.
