If there’s a silver lining to all the drama and doubt of The Bachelor 2014, it’s seeing Nikki Ferrell and Juan Pablo Galavis bond through adversity. For all we know, they’re madly in love — or maybe they’re staying together out of spite, to damn the haters.
Nikki already lashed out at original Bachelorette Trista Sutter for weighing in on her relationship with Juan Pabs, and another Bachelorette has no plans to get a similar smackdown.
“I watched some of the show here and there,” DeAnna said. “It was hard to watch with a newborn keeping me busy. I don't know Juan Pablo but, hopefully he is happy. Only he and Nikki know what is real and what isn't. When you go on the show, you put so much of your life out there for people to see. Hopefully now that it is over, he and Nikki can try to figure out what is real and what isn't. Nikki seems lovely and Juan Pablo is lucky to have found a great girl like that on The Bachelor. Hopefully, they can make it work.”
Yeah, it’s hard sometimes to separate the real from the fake. A lot of people sign up for the show with the self-imposed mandate to fall in love — no matter who is handing out roses. They get swept up in the romance of the show and just pure competition. No one likes to “lose.”
Those relationships rarely last too long, but every so often real love does come out of this show — look at Trista and Ryan Sutter, Ashley and JP Rosenbaum, and Sean and Catherine Lowe.
What will happen with Nikki and Juan Pablo? Time will tell, but we agree with DeAnna — only they know what’s real, but hopefully they can make it work. Maybe they’ll prove everyone wrong!
