While not everyone on The Bachelor ends up with the guy, there are plenty of happy endings to go around. At least, that’s what Cassandra Ferguson is finding out, just a couple months after she was eliminated on Season 18. Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the beautiful mom to son Trey, 2, and learned that she’s back together with Detroit Pistons player Rodney Stuckey — Trey’s dad!

Cassandra and Rodney just returned from a trip to Miami, where they vacationed to celebrate the basketball player’s 28th birthday on April 21. Pics from the trip show them relaxed and in love. “We’ve been back together for a few weeks now,” Cass tells us. “We went down to relax and personally, for me to see how things would go.”

Cassandra says that though they just recently got back together, he's been setting the wheels in motion for a while. "After The Bachelor, I was seeing someone else for a bit who was super sweet. We went on a few dates and I would’ve considered something long term, but then things with Rodney sparked up,” the reality star, 22, says of her rekindled romance.

As for the future, it sounds like things are getting serious already. With the Pistons’ season over, Cassandra, a former dancer for the Detroit team, and Rodney will have time to figure out if they’re going to last. “He’s supposed to propose soon! I relayed the message to my mom that he should just give it to me quick or I’m going to go on Bachelor in Paradise,” Cass laughs. “She told him he’d better try hard and pop the question. He wanted to do it in St. Lucia, but we had to postpone the trip.”

Now, the couple is planning on traveling quite a bit in the coming months, with that belated St. Lucia trip and a few stops to visit family around the U.S. on the books. While Cassandra isn’t sure what she’d want for the proposal, she thinks it could be coming soon. “I would love something romantic, obviously, but I could care less if it’s simple or extravagant.”

We wish Cassandra, Rodney, Trey, and Lexi (his daughter) all the happiness in the world! Stay tuned for more updates on Cassandra’s happy new beginning.
